Longtime Butte miner Larry Hoffman joins our show today with lively stories of mining as a child near his hometown of Lewistown, as well as the trials and tribulations of Butte, Montana’s biggest mining camp.

Today on Let’s Talk Butte, we hear from longtime miner Larry Hoffman. His interview was recorded at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives as part of an ongoing oral history project, funded in part by the NEH. We begin today hearing about Larry’s time underground, which began when he was only a child.
